LDS temple wedding dresses come with some of the most specific guidelines we see: sleeves that cover the shoulders, necklines and backs with true fabric coverage (illusion mesh does not count!), and a gown that works comfortably with temple garments. Many of our brides fall in love with a gown that is almost there, and that is where our detachable linings shine. We can show you exactly how a dress would look fully lined before you ever commit, so there is no guesswork about whether that lace bodice will meet temple standards.

Catholic modesty expectations vary parish to parish, but covered shoulders and a modest neckline are the most common requests, especially in more traditional churches and cathedrals. The lovely thing about Catholic ceremonies is the flexibility: some of our brides choose a gown with detachable long sleeves or a removable topper, wearing full coverage for the Mass and revealing a different look for the reception.
